Being Believed

Being believed when I first told the story of what happened in our family people didn’t want to believe me. First of all, they didn’t want to hear that sexual allowance had occurred. Next they wanted to shove it under the rug. I wrote the unforgiven walk alone because I needed a way to forgive the abuser in our family or I thought I did until I found out I didn’t need to forgive him ever.
