The Day After Christmas

The day after Christmas was always a favorite day of mine, but I’m talking about when I was a kid when the gift I got for Christmas was something I could play with or experiment with our skate with the next day. Did I ever tell you that my father froze our backyard so I could have a skating rink. Yeah I had a cool dad. We also had an ice skating rink within walking distance of our house and the entire week and a half after Christmas before school resumed. I was at the rink cost $.25 can you imagine?
